Prerequisite - Student must have completed Essay Writing course or be able to show ability on par with that course before taking Research & Creative Writing.
In this 14-week course the student will:
- Write an 8-10-page research paper
- Fine tune research and organization skills
- Fine tune diction, sentence structure, and mechanics
- Write a creative fictional work
- Write different types of poems
- Enhance critical thinking skills

Tuesday mornings and are 1.5 hours in length. The location is
Riverwood Community Church, 12000 Clinton River Road, Sterling
Heights (next to Farmstead Park).
